Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, head of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate.

The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the consistent support of the France-Armenia Friendship Group to Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the development of relations between the two countries, emphasizing that important steps are expected in this direction in the near future. At the same time, the Prime Minister emphasized that France’s support to Armenia at all levels is greatly appreciated.

Gilbert-Luc Devinaz noted that high-level relations have been established between the parliaments of France and Armenia. According to the head of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate, in contrast to the tension of previous years, today there is tranquility in Armenia, which is aimed at peace. In this regard, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz emphasized the role of Prime Minister Pashinyan and the steps taken to establish and strengthen peace.

The interlocutors then discussed the development of cooperation between Armenia and France in various fields, in particular, energy, agriculture, education, etc.
